K-LITE Industries, a unit of 'Kumbhat Group' is now an ISO 9001 certified company and situated at D-10, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai 600 058, at a distance of 15 Km off Chennai Central. The factory and administrative office are functioning under the same premises. The company, after crossing the Silver Jubilee year has been steadily growing in the manufacture of electrical luminaires, marketed under the brand name K-LITE. Ranging from tiny halogen lamps to different kinds of fluorescent light fittings, the products include Post top lanterns, Flood lights, Street lights with Mercury, Sodium and Metal Halide lamps for road lighting, industrial and other applications.

Towards their contribution to the energy saving concepts, K-LITE actively associated in the extensive use of electronic lamp ballast in fluorescent light fittings. With the advent of 'Compact Fluorescent Lamps', K-LITE introduced these lamps in all lighting fixtures for outdoor as well as indoor. These CFL fixtures are energy efficient as also less expensive than other alternatives, resulting in saving of energy bills in a big way.
