K-Lite Industries, leading manufacturers of Indoor and Outdoor luminaires are in their Silver Jubilee Year  and to mark the special occasion they have established a new facility at the heart of the city through their convention centre at 145, Nungambakkam High Road, Chennai 600 034. The center has the following facilities right from day one :

A display arena wherein most of the luminaires (indoor and outdoor) are there to see and choose from, and can also be lighted up for a visual lighted display.

Lighting Design and Application wing equipped with imported lighting design software and networked with data base of the entire range of luminaires allowing simulation of various luminaire selections, checking the desired lighting distribution and choosing a lighting layout etc.,

An air conditioned conference hall cum mini-auditorium equipped with all modern gadgets for audio / video displays and projection equipments. K-Lite have configured the lighting layout in this hall as well as the Design center in such a way that a practical demo on various lighting schemes and a variety of luminaire combination is enabled for the customers.

A Lighting resource Library with all reference books, journals (national and international) catalogues of various manufacturers and publications, which is accessible to the entire lighting fraternity at no cost.

A catering area with basic amenities is also a part of the center for the benefit of participants in seminars / meetings.

These facilities were launched during a mini- exhibition on Lighting under the auspices of the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers and inaugurated by Shri. Ashok Kumbhat, Former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India on 28th September.

The occasion was also marked by the entry of K-Lite into the select group of ISO 9001 certified companies.

K-Lite intends to throw open these facilities to the members of ISLE, lighting and allied groups for their meetings, technical seminars and group discussions during the visits of experts in this area on a non-profit basis.
